The Aurora University women's hockey team opened the NCHA portion of their schedule on Friday afternoon with an 8-2 loss to Adrian College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartan trailoed 2-0 after one period of action.
- Down 3-0, AU got a goal from Haley Knauf on an assist from Marissa Dunbar at 14:01.
- AU would trail 5-1 after two periods.
- Midway through the third, AU scored on the power play to cut the deficit to 5-2.
- Rachel Campoli got the tally with assists from Dunbar and Hannah Gwillim.
- AU would fall to the Bulldogs 8-2.
