The Aurora University women's hockey team carried the momentum from Friday's victory into Saturday's tilt with Trine University. AU won 2-0 for the second consecutive day behind strong special teams and stellar goaltending.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the second consecutive game, both teams were scoreless through one period of action.
- It appeared the game would stay scoreless heading into the third period but
Marisa Trevino found the back of the net for the second straight game with 13 seconds to play in the second period.
- Trevino wasn't finished as she scored on the power play midway through the third period to extend the Spartan lead to 2-0.
Sadie Parton and
Olivia Matson recorded the assists.Â
- The AU penalty kill kept Trine off the board in all four chances during Saturday's contest.
