The Aurora University men's volleyball team improved to 4-2 on the season overall and 3-0 in the NACC with a three set victory over Illinois Tech on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans hit .316 in the opening set, led by three kills each from
Timothy Breiter,
Emmanuel Chaidez and
Justin Elliott.
- The hot hitting Spartans won 25-16.
- In the second set, AU controlled the set from the start, leading by as many as eight points on several occasions before a late visitor rally made for a 25-20 final.

Thomas Kovanic hit .400 in the second set with three kills and Chaidez hit .375 and three kills.
- AU again led throughout the final set but allowed the visitors to hang around within striking distance.
- Breiter had a strong final set, knocking down six kills while hitting .500.
