- In the second, both teams had chance but with less than five minutes to play, the score remained 1-0 LFC.

Stephanie Schmunk scored her first collegiate goal to tie the game. Seniors

Lexie Martinez assisted on the goal.
- AU and LFC went to the second intermission tied 1-1.
- 53 seconds into the third period having just finished a penalty kill, the Spartans took the lead.

- AU would win the contest 3-2.
