The Aurora University men's basketball team returned to the road for a second straight weekend NACC series, this time to Rockford University. The Spartans faced a hot shooting host as they fell 96-79.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans and Regents went back and forth in the early part of the first-half, trading the lead numerous times.
- A 0-for-6 shooting slump by the Spartans led to a 10-0 run by Rockford midway through the first-half which found AU behind by 10 and 28-18.
- AU went into halftime, down 13 at 50-37.
- The Spartans trailed in the second-half by double-digits as foul counts on both sides mounted, slowing the flow of the contest.
- The second-half saw the Spartans shoot almost 50% from the field but that was unable to overcome the hot shooting of the hosts.
- AU would fall to Rockford by a 96-79 final.
