- Right at 13 minutes into the game, AU lit the lamp first with

- In the second period and leading 1-0, the Spartans struck again.
Adam Keyes scored with
Connor Chilton and
Riley Doyon picking up helpers.
- Almost 10 minutes later and on the power play, the Spartans expanded their lead.
- With one second left on the power play, Chilton scored with
Nate Keeley and Keyes assisting.
- 1:28 later and on the power play, Trine ended the shutout with a goal.
- The AU defense and goalie
Josh Boyko made the two goal lead hold up in the third as AU was victorious 3-1.
