Spartans dominate Hawks at home

The Aurora University men's lacrosse team hosted Illinois Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon. The Spartans were dominant in their 19-4 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- IIT were the first to get on the board, but their 1-0 lead would be their only lead of the game.
- One minute later Harrison Canaday would tie it up with his 15th goal of the season.
- Spartans Luke Hill and Joseph Dey would add another two in the final minutes of the quarter. 3-1 Spartans.
- In the 2nd AU would hold IIT scoreless while scoring six from Dey, Zach Bernstein, Hill, Andy Trenary (2), and Nick Stehr.
- AU would score the first three of the 3rd quarter with goals from Trenary, Brody Macdonald, and Bernstein.
- The teams would trade a pair of goals to finish the quarter with Spartans Mitchell Young and Trenary finding the back of the net.
- AU would start the 4th on a 4-0 run with goals coming from Young, Kyle Bosshart, Dylan Macdonald, and Mikail Byun. 
- After an IIT goal Byun would score the final goal of the game to give the Spartans a 19-4 victory.
