The Aurora University women's lacrosse team hosted Edgewood College Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans defeated the Eagles 20-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans wasted no time getting on the board in tonight's game as
Monique Gibson scored the first goal of the game in 12 seconds.
- Spartan
Nicole Fischer would score for AU followed by another goal from Gibson to put the Spartans up 3-0.

Danielle Cobbett and
Claire Carlson would each find the back of the net to extend the lead.

Hannah Martindale would score for the Spartans to make it a 6-0 game.
- Gibson would score her third goal of the game followed up quickly by another goal from Cobbett.

Claire Carlson would score back-to-back goals herself and make it a 10-0 lead Spartans.

Jalyn Yaukovitz would join in on the scoring with 12 minutes left in the first half.
- With 10 minutes remaining in the half Edgewood would score their only goal of the game.
- AU would end the half on a 3-0 run with two goals coming from Carlson and one from Yaukovitz.
- To start the 2nd half
Marina Kanner and
Margaret Flanagan would score to quick goals. Flanagan would score another minutes later.
- With 18 minutes remaining in the game Carlson would score another goal to extend the lead to 18-1.
- Spartans
Bailey Simpson and
Kara O'Connell would score the final two goals for AU.
