The Aurora University women's lacrosse team hosted Benedictine University Monday afternoon. The Spartans defeated the Eagles in their final Regular Season game 20-1 and won the 2021 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship. Prior to the game, the Spartans recognized the senior class of 2020 and 2021.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans scored two quick goals in the first minute of the game from Spartans Jalyn Yaukovitz and Ellie Blake.
- Spartan Bailey Simpson extended the lead to 3-0.
- Monique Gibson scored back-to-back goals for the Spartans and AU led 5-0.
- Midway through the first half Spartans Margaret Flanagan, Olivia Matson, and Claire Carlson scored for the Spartans.
- With 12 minutes remaining in the half Janne Brown scored and Yaukovitz would score her second of the game to make it 10 Spartans.
- Spartan Danielle Cobbett got in on the scoring with 6 minutes left.
- Simpson scored two more goals sending the Spartans into half with a 13-0 lead.
- Gibson scored to start the second half.
- After another goal from Brown, Spartan Kara O'Connell found the back of the net for AU.
- Spartans Flanagan, Brown, and Cobbett would score another before the Eagles would score their first goal of the game with 5 minutes left to play.
- Spartan Chiara Pfosi scored the final goal of the game.
- Spartans win 20-1.
