The Aurora University women's volleyball team defeated Benedictine University in both of their matches Saturday afternoon, winning both in straight sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED MATCH ONE -
- The Spartan took set one 25-11 led by
Sydnei Avery with five kills.
- In set two
Kaycie Wenzel had three kills to help the Spartans to a 25-21 set win.
- In set three AU jumped out to a 6-0 lead with
Kylee Anthony serving for the Spartans.
- The Spartans would have five aces in the set, two coming from
Julia Wood, to lead them to a 25-17 set win, and a 3-0 match win.

Imani Freeman totalling three kills in the set.
- In set three the Spartans would fall behind 5-2 to start the set.

Vanessa Brown would give AU a spark with back-to-back aces and lead the Spartans to a 25-18 victory.
