Aurora University Athletics

2020-21: Aurora University women's volleyball senior libero Julia Wood added another lofty award to her resume when she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First-Team. *Shortened season played in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19* In 31 sets played she had one kill, 16 assists, and 107 digs.

2019: Was named CoSida Second-Team All-America Team, CoSida District VII Academic All-District Team, First-Team All-Region (Midwest), Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team defensive specialist. In 117 sets played she recorded six kills, 103 assists, and 656 digs. Was named an AU and NACC Scholar-Athlete.

2018: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Women's Volleyball Team.  She recorded 500 digs (4.72 d/s) for the Spartans. A First-Team All-Conference selection by the NACC, Wood was the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Elite 90 Award winner at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships. 

2017:  Attended Aurora University and was a member of the Women's Volleyball team.  She recorded 585 digs, 98 assists, and 46 aces on the season.  Wood was also selected to the NACC First-Team All-Conference.  She received NACC 2017 Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year and the Midwest All-Region Team and Midwest Region Freshman of the Year. She was named to the Gustavus Adolphus Regional All-Tournament Team.  Wood was an honorable mention All-American by AVCA.

High School: Graduate Bloomington High School North in 2017 where she competed in Volleyball and earned 1st team All-Conference and 1st team All-Area.
