The Aurora University women's hockey team returned to the Fox Valley ice for game two of the weekend series with Chatham University. The Spartans defeated the Cougars 5-2.

- The Spartans came out flying in the first period and took the 1-0 lead 2:36 in when
Ellie Visser scored off a
Julianna Gallenero assist.
- 4:30 later AU went up 2-0 with Visser assisting on an
Olivia Buzzelli goal.
- Chatham cut the Spartan lead to 2-1 at 9:34 of the first.
- The score would remain 2-1 as the teams headed to intermission.
- The game remained 2-1 until 14:37 in to the second.
Madison Gasper put AU up 3-1 with assists from
Darci Matson and
Makenna Brownlee.
- Late in the third with just over 30 seconds to play, Chatham scored on the penalty kill.
- AU led 3-2 going to the second intermission.
- 7:35 into the third,
Marisa Trevino gave the Spartans a two goal advantage. Her tally was assisted by Matson and
Erin Campbell.
- With 4:44 left in the third, Chatham called a timeout and went with the empty net.
- With 2:59 on the clock,
Darci Matson dumped in a shot at the empty net but chased down her miss and fed
Madison Gasper for the goal, her second of the day.
