The Aurora University men's basketball team played their last contest before the holiday break at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The cold winter temps followed the Spartans into the gym as AU would fall 81-63 behind a cold shooting night.

Joevonn McCottry layup pulled the Spartans to within four at 30-26.
- A minute later McCottry drained a three and AU was down 32-29.
- AU would trail going to halftime 41-32.
- The Spartans went 10-of-30 from the field in the opening 20 minutes of action.
- The second-half saw AU trail by as many as 31.
- AU though would not go down easily, fought back but would run out of time, losing 81-63.
