The Aurora University men's hockey team wrapped up a weekend series with Lawrence University on Sunday afternoon. The Spartans shutout the Vikings 5-0 to complete the weekend sweep with senior Jack Jaunich recording a hat trick.

- With eight seconds remaining in the first period, Jack Jaunich got the Spartans on the broad on assists from Jacob Brockman and Derrick Budz.
- AU would head to the power play midway through the second period and capitalized on the extra man just less than a minute in.
- Jaunich tallied the power play goal, his second of the day with assists from Adam Keyes and Gio Procopio.
- The third period saw the phyiscal play physical play intensify with numerous penalties.
- Less than five minutes into the period, Matt Weber found the back of the Viking net to extend the Spartans lead 3-0.
- Not long after, Jaunich would score on a power play completing the hat trick and AU led 4-0 with 10 minutes remaining.
- With two minutes left on the clock, Procopio added another power play tally. 
- AU's Kolby Thornton stood strong keeping the Vikings from finding the back of the Spartan net.
- The Spartans completed the 5-0 shutout.
