The Aurora University softball team opened the 2022 season with a dominating 9-0 victory over Cornell College in the opening game of the spring trip in central Florida.

Ashley Talaga singled to left field to bring in Fiehweg and a two-run double from
Lexi Rayborn extended the Spartans lead 5-0.

Delilah Aguirre grounded into a fielders choice that allowed Talaga to score and
Tyler Chambers singled to drive in Rayborn.Â

Madelyn Buske dominated in the circle, only giving up two hits while striking out six.

Jemma Fiehweg hit a run scoring single and AU was now up 9-0

Rylee Campbell came on to pitch the fifth, getting two strikeouts and AU was victorious 9-0.
