The Aurora University softball team competed in the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Softball Tournament Saturday afternoon. After a 48 hour rain delay, the Spartans took on No.3 Milwaukee School of Engineering in a single-elimination matchup. The Spartans dropped the game 6-5 in extra innings.

- MSOE loaded the bases in the opening frame with one out. Spartan starter
Hannah Tomasko was able to get out of the inning without the Raiders pushing a run across.

Josephine Lytton got the Spartan offense going with a lead off bunt down the third base line.
Jemma Fiehweg would knock her in with a triple to left center and the Spartans took an early 1-0 lead.

Ashley Talaga SAC bunt and the Spartans lead 2-0 in the first.
- In the bottom of the second, the Spartans scored three runs on four hits and one MSOE error.
Jordan Seyfried led off the inning with a single to right field.
Faith Biggs followed with a bunt down the first base line.

Ashley Talaga singled through the right side to score pinch runner
Isabel Morales and
Faith Biggs.

Lexi Rayborn followed with an RBI single to score Fiehweg who reached on hit by pitch and AU led 5-0 going into the top of the third.
- The Raiders would score three, two being unearned, on three hits and one Spartan error in the top of the third to cut their deficit to 5-3.
- In the top of the fifth, MSOE tied the game 5-5 on two hits and one Spartan error.
- The Spartans loaded the bases in the fifth with no outs, but were unable to push any runs across and the game headed into extra innings.
- In the top of the eight, MSOE scored one in to take the lead.
- The Spartans bats fell silent and would fall by a final score of 6-5 in 8 innings.
