The Aurora University women's volleyball team opened up the Wesleyan Tournament in Middletown, Connecticut against Roger Williams University and won in a route 3-0.

- The Spartans had four scoring runs of five points or more in the first set while AU hit .600.
- AU opened the second set on a 10-0 run and went on to win 25-8. 
- The Spartans trailed 4-3 in the third set but went on to go on a 22-6 run to close out the set and match.
- All 15 Spartans played in the match.
- AU hit .449 in the match and finished with 13 aces.
