The Aurora University women's hockey celebrated senior night before game two of the conference weekend series against Trine University. The Spartans scored four goals in the first period to secure a 6-0 dominate shutout over the Thunder.

Bethany Koman scored the first goal of the night 3:22 into the first period on an assist from
Liza Davies.
-Less than two minutes later,
Madison Gasper found the back of the Thunder net, her 11th goal of the season on assists from
Erin Campbell and
Darci Matson.

Marisa Trevino joined in on the scoring action and the Spartans led 3-0 with 9:43 left on the clock.

Ava Eid picked up her first helper of the night while
Darci Matson recorded her third when they both fed
Ellie Visser for a power play goal, the fourth Spartan goal of the period.
-With 8:31 left in the second period,
Darci Matson found the top left corner of the net and AU led 5-0. Matson was assisted by senior
Mak Cooke.
-The scoring frenzy continued in the third period.
Madison Gasper tallied her second of the night with a power play goal on an assist from Cooke.

Samantha Steciak had 18 saves and the Spartans out-shot the Thunder 64-18.
