The Aurora University women's basketball team used a 34 point second quarter scoring out put to coast past the Alverno College Inferno 93-59 on Saturday.

- The Spartans had their hands full with the Inferno in the first quarter, leading 19-16 on a late three from Crystal Rios.
- AU dominated the second quarter, out scoring Alverno 34 to 11.
- Defensive pressure from the Spartans led to turnovers and easy baskets along with the three ball started falling.
- Back to back threes from Kamryn Bullock and Talia Bee along with a layup from Gabrielle Wolff put AU ahead 43-24 with 3:57 left to go.
- A layup off another turnover by Kylie Fischbach was the final basket of the first-half and AU led 53-27.
- The Spartans comfortably managed their lead in the second-half and would go on to win 93-59.
