Spartans defeat Eagles for 10th straight time

The Aurora University women's volleyball team notched another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference victory and their 10th consecutive over the Benedictine University Eagles on Thursday evening in Lisle. AU defeated the Eagles in three quick sets, 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

How it happened
- AU roared out of the gates and led 7-1 after a Dani Lauer ace and Lulu Torres kill forced a BU timeout.
- The Spartans continued the dominance of the Eagles and went on to win 25-16.
- Six Spartans collected kills in the set victory with Hannah Joseph dishing out 12 assists.
- The second set was close early but three straight BU attack errors gave the Spartans a 12-9 lead.
- AU held on to the lead and would win 25-18.
- Torres had five kills with Riley Moreno adding four in the set win.
- After an early Spartan lead disappeared, the Spartans were not phased and methodically dismantled the Eagles on their way to a 25-22 set win and a 3-0 match victory.
- Torres added eight kills in the third and final set while Joseph added 15 more assists.
- The Spartans defeated Benedictine for a 10th consecutive time with the 3-0 win.
