The Aurora University women's hockey team was back in action for a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association matchup as they hosted the Lawerence University Vikings. The Spartans got out in front early and never looked back on their way to a 8-1 victory at Fox Valley Ice Arena, as eight different players scored a goal for AU.

- It took the Spartans all but six minutes to put the game's first goal on the board, as
Darci Matson assisted Peyton Elliot who fired one into the back of the Vikings Net.
- With 12:56 on the board in the first period,
Rachel Campoli sniped one into the top left corner of the net.
Cara Cook and
Haley Knauf assisted Campoli for her first goal of the season.
- AU took their two goal lead into the first intermission.
- The second period opened with a D. Matson goal, as she picked up a loose puck in the Vikings defense zone and put AU up 3-0.

Makenna Brownlee joined in on the scoring barrage with her second goal of the season, unassisted at the 10:40 mark of the second period.
- Lawrence got on the board with a power play goal to cut the AU lead to 4-1.
- The Spartans kept the scoring going with the Matson sisters combining for
Molly Matson's first collegiate goal to make it 5-1 AU.

Haley Knauf would add one more goal near the end of the second period, giving the Spartans a 6-1 lead headed into the second intermission.Â

Cara Cook weaved around a Viking defender and sniped the puck to the top right corner blocker side for what was also her first collegiate goal.Â
- With 1:42 left in the game,
Erin Campbell added one more unassisted goal to give AU the 8-1 victory.Â
