The Aurora University women's hockey returned to the ice for game two of the home conference series against Adrian College on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans and Bulldogs played another physical contest, but AU battled and came away with a 5-1 victory.

- The Spartans took an early 1-0 lead in the first period when
Darci Matson found the back of the Bulldogs net 6:46 into the contest.
- With 3:33 left in the period, the Bulldogs tied the game 1-1.
- Only 45 seconds after the Adrian goal, Matson won the puck battle and perfectly passed to the back post where
Marisa Trevino scored and AU retook the lead 2-1.

Olivia Buzzelli netted an unassisted even strength goal with 12:30 remaining in the second period to extend the Spartans lead 3-1.
- The Bulldogs out shot the Spartans 14-7, the AU defensive unit in front of
Tia Glube kept Adrian from finding the back of the net.
- AU headed into the second intermission leading 3-1.
- With 3:03 remaining in the third period, the Bulldogs pulled their goalie for an extra skater.
Darci Matson recorded her second tally of the night with an unassisted empty net goal.
- Less than a minute later and down three goals, Adrian pulled their goalie once again.
