The Aurora University women's hockey team returned back to the ice for game two of 2022-2023 NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs against Trine University Saturday afternoon. The Spartans defeated the Thunder to advance to the semi round in the Slaats Cup Playoffs.

- The Spartans scored two goals in the opening period.
- AU had 13 shots on goal before

Marisa Trevino who tipped it in to make it a 1-0 contest.

Ellie Visser scored her second of the series with a back hand tally to extend the Spartans lead 2-0.

Darci Matson recorded her 30th goal of the season with an even strength forehand tally. Matson was assisted by

- The Spartans led 3-0 heading into the final intermission.

Bethany Koman found the back of the Thunder net on a pass from
Rachel Campoli. AU led 4-0 with 17:14 left on the clock.
- The Thunder would respond with their only goal of the game.
