The Aurora University men's soccer team got back to their winning ways in front of their home crowd on Wednesday night, shutting out Rockford University 4-0.

RECORD: Aurora University 6-3-2 and 4-0-1 in the NACC


-AU didn't waste much time getting on the board in the 11th minute off the foot of Max Crawford, his 2nd goal of the season.
-The stifling Spartan defense only allowed Rockford to take one off-target shot during the first half.
-AU was able to get 11 shots on goal in the first half, including four from Enrique Gonzalez.
-Just four minutes into the second half, Gonzalez shifted his way around a couple of Rockford defenders to make 2-0 in favor of AU.
-In the 62nd minute, Anthony Marmolejo set up Gonzalez for his second goal of the game.
-Seven minutes later, Branden Dolezal knocked in his 3rd goal of the season off the assist from Omar Saldana.
-Rockford only took two shots on goal the entire game.
