The Aurora University women's basketball team hosted Edgewood College for a Wednesday night NACC showdown in front of an energetic crowd in Thornton Gymnasium, Despite a late push from the Spartans that kept them within one possession of the Eagles until the final minute, AU fell 63-57.

- AU scored their first basket 3:12 into the game with a jumper from Selena Vargas to bring the Spartans to down 4-2.
- A three-point play from Riley Doggett and a layup from Sam Barrett with 3:20 left in the first quarter gave AU a 9-8 lead.
- Edgewood closed the quarter on a 7-0 run and led 15-9.
- The Spartans went 4-of-18 from the field and 0-of-6 from three in the first quarter of action.
- Trailing 21-13 midway through the second, AU had a 7-0 run with five points including the first three of the game from EGabrielle Wolff.
- Back to back baskets from Macy Kocen and Eliot Dojutrek gave the Spartans a 28-25 lead in the final minute of play.
- A three with seconds left in the half from Edgewood sent the teams to halftime tied 28-28.
- A Kocen three early in the third gave the Spartans their largest lead of the game at 33-29.
- After Kylie Fischbach hit a three to bring AU to down two at 43-41, Edgewood ended the third quarter on a 5-0 run to lead 48-41.
