The Aurora University women's basketball team returned to the court for the first time in the 2024 part of the season and had a record setting night in a 114-56 victory over Dominican University. - AU hit the first of 14 three's on the night just seconds into the game. The
Macy Kocen three gave the Spartans the lead they would never relinquish.
- The Spartans closed out the first quarter on an 18-7 run and led 23-11.
- Six different Spartans scored in the first quarter led by eight from Kocen.
- Dominican scored the first basket in the second and AU responded with a 30 point out-put to lead 53-20 going to halftime.
- Eight Spartans scored in the first half with AU out-rebounding Dominican 39-20.
- The Spartans scoring did not slow down in the third as they poured in 32 more points.

Gabrielle Wolff had 10 as AU drained 6-of-12 from three-point range.
- AU led 85-34 after three quarters.
- In the fourth, AU continued to score at will and a pair of free-throws from
Danielle Antione late tied the AU single game scoring record at 112.
- Following a Dominican turnover,
Nikki Sullivan made a scooping reverse layup to set a new AU scoring mark with 114.
