The Aurora University women's basketball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Alverno College for a weekend NACC match-up. The Spartans eclipsed the 100 point mark for the second straight game and had five different players reach double figures in scoring, including Selena Vargas who finished with a triple-double to lead AU to a 105-48 victory.

- The Spartans wasted no time getting out to a 20-3 lead, which included seven early points from Eliot Dojutrek.
- AU's leading rebounder Selena Vargas grabbed six boards in just the first quarter, as the Spartans dominated the Inferno on the glass 15-7 in the frame
- AU led 25-12 after the first.
- After a 13-2 run to start the second quarter, AU took a 38-14 at the 6:50 mark.
- Macy Kocen nailed a couple of three-pointers during the run, as she netted 12 points in the first half.
- The press defense from the Spartans was giving the visitors problems all afternoon, as they forced 14 first half turnovers. Vargas and Kocen each had three steals.
- The Spartans were 6-12 from beyond the arc in the second quarter while forcing the Blaze into shooting just 27% from the field.
- AU outscored the visitors 36-11 in the second to take a 61-21 lead into the halftime break.

- AU started the second half on a 13-0 run that saw another six points from Dojutrek.
- Ava Barszcz knocked down a couple of three-pointers in the final minutes of the third to give AU a 89-30 lead.
- The Spartans outscored the Blaze 28-7 in the third frame while holding them to just 23% shooting in the quarter.
