The Aurora University Spartan football team scored 42 points in the first-half with 28 in the second quarter to open up a 42-7 halftime lead and cruised to the easy 42-14 victory on Saturday at Concordia University Wisconsin. Six different Spartans scored including a 25-yard pick-six from Jaylen Jordan to cap the days scoring late in the first-half.

- The AU offense took possession after the opening kickoff and marched 75-yards in eight plays to go ahead 7-0.
- A balanced attack in the drive culminated in a two-yard Zackery Russell scoring run.
- The Spartan defense came out firing on all cylinders in the first two series on the field, with nine plays resulting in just one yard allowed.
- After an AU fumble, the defense was again put in a tough spot with CUW taking advantage and tying the game 7-7.
- With the game tied, the AU offense responded right away to regain the lead in six plays. Tyler Adkins hit Trey Urwiler from 10-yards out for the go ahead score.
- Jeremy Thomas and the AU defense set up the offense right after with an interception at midfield before a return to the CUW 36.
