The Aurora University women's soccer team took on the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday evening at Spartan Athletic Park as their regular season starts to come to a close. An early goal from
Kyra Karrer gave AU the lead going into the second half, but the Spartans were unable to hang on and drew with the Warriors 1-1.

Kyra Karrer took less than six minutes to find the back of the net to give AU the early 1-0 lead.
Emma Delgado centered one to
Lauren Bliefernicht who found Karrer from nearly 20 yards out for the score.
- WLC couldn't get much going until the 15th minute when they put a shot on goal, which was easily saved by
Melina Cane.
- At the 27 minute mark,
McKenna Kunz struck one towards the goal, but just missed giving the Spartans the lead back.
- The score would hold at 1-1 going into the halftime break.
- The Warriors came out firing in the second half with four shots within the first 15 minutes, all of which were saved by Cane.
- WLC got on the board 62nd minute, tying the score at one.
- Bliefernicht put a shot on goal in the 79th minute to try and give AU the advantage, but just missed finding the back of the net.
- The 1-1 score would hold until the final buzzer, resulting in a draw.
