The Aurora University women's hockey team took its first shootout victory of the season in the second game of an opening season series against the Royals of Bethel University 2-2 in Blaine, Minnessota. After a back-and-forth affair that saw a 2-2 tie in regulation,
Liza Davies goal gave the Spartans the 2-1 victory in the shootout.

Cara Cook scored off an assist from
