The Aurora University men's soccer team saw their postseason play continue on Wednesday night in Madison, Wisconsin when the Spartans shocked the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in the semifinals of the 2024 NACC Men's Soccer Tournament. The AU defense shutout the vaunted Edgewood College offense while Carlos Viayra scored the games only goal with 5:54 remaining on the game clock to lift AU to the Championship game.

- Early on Edgewood controlled action but Spartan keeper Antonio Herrera was up to the challenge.
- Herrera had two saves on both scoring chances for the hosts.

- In the 73rd minute Enrique Gonzalez nearly gave AU a lead but was stopped by the Edgewood keeper to have the score remain 0-0.
- With the 5:54 remaining in the game, the Spartans and Carlos Viayra broke up the scoreless tie.

- The Viayra goal was all the AU defense and Herrera needed to seal the win.
