The Aurora University women's basketball traveled to Knox College on Wednesday afternoon, looking to begin a three-game winning streak in their final non-conference game of the 2024-2025 season. The Spartans fell to the Prairie Fire, however, by a score of 85-77.

- Eliot Dojutrek started out hot for the Spartans, netting seven points through the first four minutes. This helped AU get out to an early 8-5 lead.
- Selena Vargas then converted back-to-back baskets for AU, before Knox went on a 10-0 scoring run.
- Five points late in the first from Jennifer Heinberg for the Spartans cut into this Praire Fire run.
- AU saw a 25-18 deficit after one quarter of play.
- Dojutrek got back going early in the second, scoring five more points in the first four minutes of the quarter. Knox led AU 31-25 with 6:05 to go in the first-half.
- Another 10-0 scoring run from the Prarire Fire saw the Spartans trailing 41-26 with 2:15 left until the half.
- Elizabeth Griswold got the to the line with one second to go in the first-half. She converted one-of-two as AU trailed 46-34.
- AU came out on fire to start the second-half after a cold first two quarters. Vargas layed one in to complete a 13-6 scoring run to open the third for the Spartans.
- The Vargas basket put AU back within one possession 52-49 halfway through the third quarter.
- After outscoring Knox 24-18 in the third, the Spartans trailed 64-58 heading into the final quarter of play.
- Riley Doggett and Heinberg buried back-to-back three's for AU to open up the fourth to tie the score at 64.
- Another three later from Kamryn Bullock gave the Spartans their first lead of the second-half at 67-66 with 7:07 to go.
- Knox finished the game on a 19-10 scoring run.
- This handed AU the 85-77 loss.
