The Aurora University men's hockey team scored four answered goals to power their way to a 5-1 victory on the road over Lawrence University on Friday night.

- The scoring began late in the first at the 16:04 mark when John Hallard and Jacob Brockman teamed up to give Hassan Akl his second goal of the season and AU a 1-0 lead.
- AU took that 1-0 lead into the first intermission behind 12 shots on goal for the Spartans to just four for the hosts.
- Lawrence scored the first goal of an eventful second period on the power play at the 3:52 mark of the frame. This tied the score at one.
- The Spartans took just over a minute to answer back after Juliano Santalucia lit the lamp 5:05 into the second. Brockman picked up his second assist on the score while Jakson Kirk also earned an assist on the play.
- AU scored another even strength goal with just under two minutes left in the second. Brockman was on the scoring end this time while Akl assisted.
- Brockman's goal late in the second gave AU a 3-1 lead heading into the third.
- A slashing call was whistled on Lawrence about midway through the third period, and AU cashed out on the power play when Chayce Schmidt scored. Eddie Paulissian collected the assist on Schmidt's tally.
- AU wasn't finished as Riley Dekowny added an even strength goal at the 17:40 mark with Andrew Schultz assisting him.
- This helped give the Spartans the commanding 5-1 win.
- JaCob Mucitelli finished with 16 saves in all 60 minutes in-goal for AU.
