The Aurora University men's lacrosse team continued their home stand on Wednesday evening when they squared off against the Cardinals of North Central College at Spartan Athletic Park. The Spartans would fall to North Central by a score of 12-7.

- AU didn't waste much time grabbing the early 1-0 lead when
Brody MacDonald found
Carson Leader for his 7th goal of the season.
- With 4:40 to go in the first quarter,
Chris Bucci found the back of the net off an assist from
Tyler Foerstel making it 2-0 AU.
- The Cardinals scored four unanswered goals to take a 4-2 lead with 5:50 left in the first half.

Luke DuPont halted the Cardinal scoring run with his first goal of the season to trim AU's deficit to 4-3.
Owen Spencer assisted DuPont on the play.
- North Central scored two more goals before the halftime buzzer, giving the Spartans a 6-3 deficit going into the locker room.
- Just over a minute into the third quarter,
Owen Spencer sifted around a couple of Cardinal defenders and made it 6-4.
- The Cardinals took a 10-4 lead with just over a minute to go in the third quarter.
- Foerstel answered back with two goals of his own as AU saw a 10-6 deficit in the beginning of the fourth quarter.
- After North Central made 11-6, MacDonald picked up his second goal of the game with 9:32 left.
- AU would end up falling 12-7 in the contest.
