The Aurora University men's volleyball team used timely scoring runs to defeat the visiting Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Institute of Technology 3-0 on Wednesday night.

- AU used an 8-3 run midway through the set to take a commanding lead and go on to win 25-18.

Luke Dwyer had 11 assists.
- The second set followed the same script with the Spartans using an 11-4 run this time to eventually win 25-17.
- Dwyer added 10 more assists with six kills from McLellan.
- AU jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the third, saw IIT roar back into the set before pulling away late for a 25-19 win.
- The Spartans continued their strong hitting with .308 in the final set.
