The Aurora University women's lacrosse team secured at least a share of the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season championship and will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NACC Tournament with a 17-1 win at Illinois Institute of Technology on Tuesday night.

- With 1:41 remaining in the first quarter the Spartans scored their 10th goal on the fourth of the game from
Danielle Cobbett. The goal started the tic-toc of the running clock.
- The goals in the first came early and often with four from Cobbett, three from
Caley Russell, two from
Brianna Peck and one from
Kenly Axvig.
- The offensive out put slowed with the clock running but AU would score twice more with goals from Peck and
Nicolina Smith in the second to go to halftime up 12-0.

Kielly Reeve added third period goals for the 14-0 AU advantage.
- A power play goal for IIT ended the AU shutout attempt in the fourth.
- Rootberg, Axvig and Syd Mann scored in the fourth as AU won handily, 17-1.
