The Basics
FINAL SCORE: Aurora University 4, Elmhurst University 0
LOCATION: Spartan Athletic Park
RECORDS: Aurora University 1-4-0 overall; Elmhurst University 2-2-2 overall

How it happened
- It took the Spartans all but seven minutes to find the back of the net, as the duo of Lauren Bliefernicht and Emma Delgado found Madison Hougan for her first goal of the season.
- This same trio struck again about eight minutes later in the first-half to get AU out to a 2-0 lead.
- 29:11 into the half, McKenna Kunz passed one out to Cassie Garcia who struck a ball from nearly 25 yards away that found the back net. This gave the Spartans a commanding 3-0 lead.
- This lead would hold until the halftime break, as the AU defense only allowed two shots on goal in the opening half.
- Lindsey Cepa picked up those two saves in the first half for AU, before giving way to Melina Cane who took over in goal.
- The Bluejays put the first shot on goal of the second-half in the 53rd minute that was easily saved by Cane.
- In the 74th minute, AU would add one more when Dahlia Perez found Katie Leick for her first goal of the season. This made it a 4-0 Spartan advantage.
- That lead would until the final buzzer resulting in a 4-0 AU victory.
- Elmhurst only got three more shots on goal in the second-half, all of which were no trouble for Cane.
