The Aurora University women's volleyball team hosted a tri-match in Thornton Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans would fall to University of Dubuque 3-1 and Illinois Wesleyan University 3-0.

MATCH ONE
- The AU Spartans stormed out to a 9-4 lead in the opening set to force a timeout from the visitors.
- The set would go back and forth with AU eventually trailing 23-22.
- A big kill from
Lulu Torres out of the timeout at 23-22 evened the score.
- A couple points later,
Riley Moreno delivered back to back aces to complete the set win 26-24.
- AU would hit a match high .231 in the opening set.
- The second set saw the Spartans hold a small lead nearly throughout, including a 22-20 advantage.
- AU would drop the second set though 25-23.
- The Spartans trailed throughout the third set but made a late rally before falling 25-22.
- In the fourth set, the Spartans held what appeared to be a commanding 19-12 lead.
- After a Dubuque rally, AU had set point to force a fifth deciding set but would be unable to hang and fell 29-27.

- The Spartans did not lead in the first two sets and fell 25-18 and 25-15.
- AU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the third set but went on to drop the set 25-14 and the match 3-0.
