The Aurora University women's basketball team used a strong second-half to hold off a pesky Rockford University Regent team with AU defeating the hosts 70-60.

- AU found themselves leading early in the first 7-2 with five points from Riley Doggett
- But a 10-0 run from Rockford quickly saw the Spartans down five at 12-7 midway through the first.
- The Spartans finished the first on a 12-0 run.
- Jennifer Heinberg and Krystyna Manzanarez each had five points in the AU scoring run.
- After one quarter, AU led Rockford 19-12.
- Six second quarter turnovers for the Spartans allowed Rockford to rally back and heading to halftime, AU led 32-31.
- The Spartans opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run with points from four different players giving AU the 42-33 lead.
- Rockford remained pesky and didn't allow the Spartans to pull away with AU leading 51-44 after 30 minutes of action.
- In the fourth, the Spartans maintained a multiple possession lead but did not see the lead get to double digits until the final free-throws of the game from Manzanarez.
- AU held on to defeat the Regents on the road 70-60.
