The Aurora University Spartan football team regrouped in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action at Eureka College, throttling the Red Devils 66-0 scoring early and often including a pair of special teams touchdowns in the first quarter.

- AU and Lakeland both traded turnover on downs on their respective first possessions.
- The Spartans would go on to score a touchdown on their next six possessions.
- AU took a 7-0 lead with a five-play, 58-yard drive that ended with a Liam Mickle to Lucious Dones five-yard scoring pass.
- Lakeland answered and tied the game 7-7 which was the score after one quarter.
- Three plays into the second, TJ Ramsey went 12-yards into the end zone and gave AU a 14-7 lead.
- A sack from JP Chaney and Wyatt Williams on the next Lakeland drive eventually forced a Muskie punt that went just one-yard.
- The Spartan offense quickly took advantage in five plays with Mickle hitting Ethan Svoboda on a 15-yard scoring strike and AU now led 21-7.
- Lakeland then ground out a 14-play drive going 75-yards to pull within seven as AU now led 21-14.

- The AU defense came up big on the first play of the second-half. Rahmello Law forced a fumble that Hayden Hourany pounced on at the Lakeland 25.
- On the Spartans first offensive play, Ramsey dashed 25-yards into the end zone and AU led 35-14.
- Lakeland scored on their next drive but missed the extra point to make the score 35-20.
- AU answered immediately in just three plays with Mickle hitting Dones on a 45-yard scoring strike. The second connection of the day between the duo gave AU a 42-20 lead.
- With 5:43 left in the third the Spartans began their drive. AU ran off the final 5:43 of the third and continued to grind out the clock into the fourth.
- The 17-play AU drive that went for 58-yards and took off 9:25 of game clock ended up with an interception in the end zone.
- Lakeland drove the field and scored to cut the AU lead to 14 at 42-28.
- Another long AU drive ended with a turnover on downs at the Lakeland 10 yard line. The Spartans again took off over five minutes of game clock.
- Spartan Korey Hunter came up big in the final defensive series as he intercepted a pair of passes to help seal the win.
- After the first Hunter pick, AU and Ramsey scored for the last time on the day with Ramsey scored on the ground for the third time on the day.
- AU would win on the road, 49-28.
