The Aurora University men's basketball team returned to the home court after the Thanksgiving break and won the battle with the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College 96-81.

- AU came out of the gates quickly, leading 5-0 on a basket from
Mekhi Doby and three from
Cullen Rauls.
- A bucket from
Juan Madrigal four minutes into the game expanded the AU lead to nine at 15-6.
- A short time later,
Zerrick Johnson drained a three and the Spartans led 20-10.
- After holding their largest lead of the first-half at 11 with 7:45 left, the Spartans had an offensive drought as WLC chipped away at the lead.
- A three from Madrigal and two free-throws from Johnson pushed the AU lead back to double digits with 3:00Â left in the half.
- AU led 48-38 going to halftime.
- Madrigal led all scorers with 17 first-half points.
- Coming out of the first media timeout of the second-half, the Spartans took the lead into double-digits and never looked back.
- AU's largest lead came with 2:32 left on a Rauls layup and a 23-point advantage at 94-71.
- The Spartans were victorious 96-81.
