The Aurora University men's hockey team hosted the University of Dubuque in the first game of a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series, as a win for the Spartans in either two games of the series would give AU three points in the conference standings and crown them champions of the 2024-2025 NCHA Peter's Cup. AU did just that, scoring a grand total of seven goals to knock off Dubuque on Friday night. This marks the first time in their history that AU has won the Peter's Cup.
FINAL SCORE: #3 Aurora University 7, University of Dubuque 0
LOCATION: Fox Valley Ice Arena - Geneva, Illinois
RECORDS: #3 Aurora University 20-3-1 overall and 14-2-1 NCHA; University of Dubuque 1-20-3 overall and 1-14-2 NCHA
