- A 6-0 MSOE run to open the second half forced an early AU timeout.

Noah Butler including a posterizing dunk on a Raider defender and a three gave the Spartans a 67-60 lead with 13:12 to play in the game.
- After the Spartans tied their game-high lead of nine at 69-60, the counter of runs continued with MSOE having an answer.
- MSOE had a 25-9 run and led AU 85-78 with 1:48 to play.
- The Spartans chipped back but were unable to get closer than four in the final 1:48.
- AU fell to the visiting Raiders 94-86.
