The Aurora University women's basketball team went down to the wire with on Saturday afternoon with Milwaukee School of Engineering, as the Spartans battled the Raiders until the final possession of the game, in which they fell by a score of 52-49. The road loss snaps AU's three-game winning streak.

- AU began the game on a 7-0 scoring run, as Kylie Fischbach got hot early with five points.
- MSOE would go on a 7-0 run of their own, tying the score about halfway through the first quarter.
- Back-to-back baskets from Aurora Eklund put the Spartans back on top and helped them coast to a 19-14 lead at the conclusion of the opening quarter.
- Fischbach notched four-straight points of her own near the beginning of the second quarter, giving AU the 23-18 lead.
- Each team would go cold to close out the second, as the Spartans clung to 24-22 lead going into the locker room.
- AU did not let their cold shooting in the second deter them, as Krystyna Manzanarez and Eliot Dojutrek each buried a three on back-to-back Spartan possessions.
- This gave AU a 30-24 lead with 8:02 to go in the third.
- The Raiders would close the quarter on a 12-4 run, as the Spartans faced a two-point deficit entering the final quarter of play.
- AU got a majority of their fourth quarter points at the charity stripe, as two free throws from Fischbach put the Spartans within one possession at 44-41.
- Back-to-back buckets from Riley Doggett kept AU within three at 51-48 with 1:16 to go.
- The Spartans got one more free throw from Doggett, but it wouldn't be enough in the 52-49 loss.
