The Aurora University men's lacrosse team wrapped up their non-conference schedule on Wednesday night at Spartan Athletic Park, hosting Elmhurst University, looking to hand the BlueJays their first loss of the season. Despite three goals from
Carson Leader, AU fell to Elmhurst by a score of 17-6.

- After falling behind 2-0 early to the Bluejays, AU got on the board when
Ben Strub found
Carson Leader at 10:23 in the first.
- Just seven seconds later, Leader tied the score at two, as he was assisted by
Owen Smith this time around.
- Elmhurst later took a 3-2 lead in the first, before
Owen Spencer answered back for the Spartans.
- Spencer's unassisted goal tied the score at three with just over eight minutes remaining in the opening quarter.
- The BlueJays scored three more goals in that remaining 8:05 of the first for a 6-3 lead over AU going into the second.
- That lead became 7-3 for Elmhurst at 9:40 in the second.
- Tyler Forestel answered back for AU at 5:11 in the third, as his unassisted goal made it 7-4.
- Elmhurst scored one more to take an 8-4 lead going into the locker room.
- Despite a goal from
Chris Bucci at 9:42 in the third, AU trailed 13-5 going into the final quarter of play.
- The Spartans did get one more in the fourth while owning a man-up over the BlueJays, as Bucci found Leader to make it 16-6.
- AU would end up falling by a score of 17-6.
