The Aurora University men's lacrosse team took on Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon for another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference weekend affair at Spartan Athletic Park. Backed by five goals
Ben Strub in AU's highest goal total of the season, the Spartan beat the Vikings 30-2.

Rielan Pura found
Tyler Foerstel to get the Spartans going.

Owen Spencer netted an unassisted goal for AU to make it 3-0.
- Foerstel found the back of the net again at 8:42 in the first, before Joas and Bucci connected again with Bucci on the scoring end.
- At 5:53 in the first, Pura assisted
Ben Strub to give AU a 6-0 lead, before Lawrence cut that lead when they got on the board with 4:43 to go in the opening frame.
- The Spartans answered with three more goals in the remainder of the first, as
Owen Smith joined the scoring fun, before Bucci and Joas each scored another goal.
- AU took a 10-1 lead early in the second with a
Carson Leader goal assisted by Strub.
- Back-to-back goals from Bucci and Pura in the middle of the second gave AU a 12-1 lead, before
Owen Meyer sniped one in to make it 13-1.
- Bucci continued his strong day with two more goals for the Spartans later in the second, while another Spencer and Pura goal stretched the lead to 17-1 going into the halftime break.
- AU scored five-straight goals late in the third to take a 22-1 lead going into the fourth, as
Travis Weischadle joined the scoring fun during that stretch.
- The Spartans opened up the fourth quarter on a 6-0 run to take a 28-1 advantage.
- Despite a late Vikings goal, the Spartans answered back with
Dylan Kranzush and
Henry Leff goals to help give them a 30-2 victory.
