The Aurora University women's lacrosse team came back to Spartan Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon for their senior day, as eight different Spartan seniors were honored before the start of the contest including Ari Rootberg, Kielly Reeve, Caley Russell, Sydney Mann, Kenly Axvig, Lorelei Babich, Brianna Peck and Alexis Crowley. In addition to senior day, Saturday also marked the 100th career goal for Russell, as the Spartans eased past Lawrence University by a score of 24-1.

- AU netted a barrage of goals early, scoring six just over three minutes into the contest.

Caley Russell netted three of these scores for the Spartans, with the second coming while AU was on the advantage, while her hat-trick goal was the 100th of her career.

Olivia Dahlberg netted one goal during this AU scoring run, while
Kenly Axvig also picked up a score as well.
- Dahlberg found the back of the net again at 8:47 in the first, while
Sydney Breitenstein scored for Spartans just over a minute later to give them an 8-0 advantage.
- AU stretched that lead to 10-0 before the end of the first with another goal from Breitenstein as well as
Sydney Mann's first score of the game.
- Another goal each from Russell and Dahlberg gave AU a 12 goal lead late in the second, before the Vikings scored with just over minute left in the first-half to trim AU's lead to 12-1 going into the third quarter.
- Similar to the first-half, the Spartans started the second-half with four goals within the first five minutes.

Nicolina Smith and Axvig each netted two goals for the Spartans during that stretch as they controlled a 16-1 lead going into the middle of the third.
- A goal each from Mann, Dahlberg, and Smith gave AU a 19-1 lead going into the final quarter of play.
- Axvig continued her strong day with back-to-back goals early in the fourth, with the second coming while AU was a woman-up.
- At 10:22 in the fourth, AU stretched their lead to 22-1 when
Kielly Reeve got in on the scoring fun.
- Back-to-back goals for the Spartans midway through the fourth from
Amelia Bell and Rootberg helped give them a 24-1 victory.

Meghan Ginty and
Alexis Crowley took over to help hold the Vikings to one goal in the game.
