The Aurora University women's lacrosse team hit the road again following their senior day victory last Saturday, as the Spartans took on Lake Forest College in another NACC battle. Despite a hat-trick from Kenly Axvig, the Spartans fell to the Foresters by a score of 13-8 on Wednesday night.

- LFC controlled the game early, netting three goals just over six minutes into the contest.

Caley Russell responded at 6:06 in the first for the Spartans, as
Kenly Axvig found her to cut the LFC lead to 3-1.
- The Foresters scored three more unanswered goals to take a 6-1 lead going into the second quarter of play.

Sydney Breitenstein cut the LFC lead to 6-2 early in the second, as she was assisted by
Brianna Peck.
- At 10:23 in the second, while AU was a woman-down, Axvig found the back of the net to cut the AU deficit to 6-3.
- That 6-3 score would hold going into the halftime break, as
Rachel Wickey picked up six saves in-goal in that second quarter for the Spartans.
- AU picked up where they left off in that second quarter, as
Olivia Dahlberg netted a goal off an assist from Brightenstein.
- LFC answered back with a goal at 9:52 in the third to increase their lead to 7-4, before it became 8-4 with another score at 1:29 in the third.
- Facing a four goal deficit entering the fourth, Axvig quickly trimmed it to three with a free-position goal less than a minute into the fourth.

Sydney Mann found Russell for another Spartan score at 7:53 in the fourth to trim their lead to 8-6.
- The Foresters scored five unanswered goals within the next six minutes of the contest to take a 13-6 lead.
- AU showed fight in the remaining 1:38, as goals from Axvig and Peck cut the AU deficit to 13-8.
- The Spartans would end up falling by that 13-8 score.
