The Aurora University Spartan men's volleyball team hosted the first round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament with the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Institute of Technology challenging the Spartans. AU held up and advanced to the semi-final round with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-19) victory inside Thornton Gymnasium.

- After an early deficit, the Spartans rallied, taking advantage of 10 IIT attack errors in the opening set to win 25-17,
- SJ Nelson, Ammar Brzovic and Nathan Kirwan each had three kills with Logan Brouwer adding 11 assists.
- A kill from Connor Carroll to give AU a 10-9 lead in the second set ignited a 10-1 AU scoring run that opened the set in the Spartans favor.
