The Aurora University men's soccer team began their 2025 season on Friday night against Elmhurst University at Langhorst Field. The Spartans were able to secure the victory behind a quick second minute goal from Walter Delapaz, the only goal they needed, but aided by two more from Branden Dolezal and Josue Roman.

- AU got the score going early with a second minute goal from Walter Delapaz assisted by Branden Dolezal.

- In the 83^rd minute, Spartan Josue Roman scored the third and final goal of the match to secure the 3-0 victory for the Spartans.
- Ageladelis and the AU defense held up the shutout victory for the Spartans 3-0.
